VIS, the front runner for heavy duty vehicle, truck and bus safety in the trucking and transportation industry for more than 20 years, was awarded a contract to supply the State of Colorado with 3 Portable Brake Tester Units. The VIS team plans to install the portable brake testers no later than September of 2017.
The State of Colorado has chosen the VIS Performance Based Brake Tester portable unit for the flexibility of conducting inspections at weigh scales. Additionally, the state can move the equipment to different testing locations throughout the state. With simple setup, a flip over axle design, and being self-powered, the VIS Portable Brake Tester is the go-to product for State Enforcement Agencies.
“Our portable brake tester units will be a great fit for the state of Colorado,” Mark Keegans, VIS Vice President, said. “We first began working with the State in 2013 and are excited that the State of Colorado has chosen our equipment! The flexibility that our flip over axle unit offers is unrivalled in the marketplace. VIS looks forward to having these units deployed throughout Colorado.”
VIS has testing equipment from Alaska to Florida. To learn more about how VIS can help with state and fleet brake inspections, contact the Orlando team directly at 866-847-8721.
