VIS Showcases Safety Products at 2015 APTA Annual Meeting

Mark Keegans, Vice President of Vehicle Inspection Systems will be attending the meetings and product showcase at the 2015 APTA Annual Meeting in San Francisco, CA. VIS will be showcasing at booth #808 providing information on the Squirrel: Wheel Safety Device and the VIS-Polish System.

The Squirrel: Wheel Safety Device easily fits on most standard 10, 8 and 6 stud trucks and bus wheels to prevent wheel loss from loose nuts by holding the wheel nuts in place. The Squirrel is currently being applied and implemented into the safety regimen of local municipal fleets to assist in their wheel safety efforts. The VIS-Polish system is a fully enclosed automated wheel polishing solution, which can be applied to transit fleets to enhance a vehicle’s wheel end safety and eliminate the labor and costly work of polishing wheels back to a mirror-like finish.

Keegans says, “I’m looking forward to showcasing our products at this year’s meeting. Connecting with public transportation and government officials on our products is always important, especially when it comes to vehicle safety in the industry.” VIS will be located at booth #808 at the Products and Services Showcase. Events will be held at the Hilton San Francisco Union Square Continental Ballroom, October 4 from 6-8 p.m. and October 5 from 12-2:30 p.m.
