• The VIS-Check is a FMCSA recognized and approved performance based brake tester (PBBT). Beginning April 2008, law enforcement agencies throughout North America began using approved PBBT’s to inspect commercial vehicles and issue citations or place vehicles out of service.
• In as little as five minutes, an inspector can evaluate a vehicle’s overall braking capabilities without having to look under the vehicle.
• Available as either a stationary unit or a rapidly deploy-able portable unit, the VIS-Check allows officers make maximum use of resources and evaluate as many vehicles as possible, safely, cleanly, and quickly with defensible results.
